GOROKAN At around 10pm last night, (Thursday 16 October) emergency crews were responded to reports of a serious accident along Dudley Street and Robson Ave at Gorokan. On arriving crews found a 2 vehicle accident with one vehicle ending up on its roof after the incident, leaving 3 people injured. The driver of one of the vehicles was still trapped inside their car. Rescue crews assisted paramedics with the removal of the patient from the vehicle, then all patients were subsequently transported by road to the John Hunter Hospital in serious but stable conditions. Police from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command and officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit attended the scene and both Dudley Street and Robson Avenue were closed until 4am, while investigations took place. nvestigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact police.
