GRAVITY (2013), d Alfonso Cuaron -- 7 Oscars? I liked it more than I thought I would, I could tell beforehand that it was typical 50s SF, people on the space station working on the Hubbell telescope, so its actually not the future, but science today - special effects are mind bliowing, super real, and the big surprise is that Sandra Bullock really carries the whole film pretty well (in spite of some nonsense weak babbling in one part - cmon man, shes an athletic, resourceful engineer.. in times of peril, few really show weakness.. It actually moves pretty quickly (unlike 2001, similar visually, which seemed to slow down time) -- a visual FEAST! probably shoulda won Best Pic as well - oh well, NO SF film has ever won, at least a few comedies have.. imdb/title/tt1454468/?ref_=nv_sr_1
