#GREATSTORY.........So last week I went to a african braid shop, and talked to the owner about doing my hair. Some people dont really understand the concept of my hair, and what a sew-in consist of for a deaf woman with a cochlear implant. I have the cochlear implant which is the magnet that sticks on my scalp, it has to be in the exact spot where the inner piece is. When the 2 magnets touch thats how I hear. (My cornrows have to be braided around the spot where that magnet sits) and they have to be micro small, so that when my hair grows out, the magnet continues to work. If not I have all types of issues with hearing. This is my life were talking about, my livelyhood and shit has to PERFECTLY ON POINT ! So I went to a shop last week, talked to the owner, told her what I need, and how I need my sew in done. She said I got you. She was nice and polite. And understood that this is unlike anybody elses situation.Today she cut my weave out. I had this hair for 8 months !!!! Thats what Im talkin bout !!!! And its still nice! Im gonna dye it, and deep condition it for 2 days. Thats how my silk presses be so silky. So when I went in the shop, this other bish jumps up talking bout I charge 40 to cut the weave out, and take the braids out. I said first of all thats not the price she quoted to me (talking bout the owner) I said you trying to rip people off, thats not cool. So I looked at the owner, and she said 20. I said yeah thats the price you said. Old girl said well I charge 40 ! I said Ill wait for the owner to finish. Ol girl was trying to get aggressive. I said thats why your chair empty now. You dont charge nobody 40 just to cut a weave out BOLLLLL !! CDHUUUUUU ! SHE LOOKED SALTY AS SSSSSSS ! FOH ! So the owner took my weave out, and I gave her a 10 tip just to make the other girl jealous. CDHUUUU ! THE ONE PERSON ON MY TEAM THAT GETS TREATED LIKE ROYALTY IS MY HAIR GIRL ! If my hair is on point. You get treated like a member of the family. #periodpointblank When she saw the tip she was smilinggggg from ear to ear ! Then she says in her thick african acent... Im so excitedddd to be featured in your fashion blog ! I cant wait for the big debut ! I never met a real model before. I was tickled pink. The other bishhh was lookin at me saltyyyy as hail. She didnt even know that I had sat down and had a consultation with the owner a week ago and even told her all about my fashion blog !!! Moral of story..... As I have had this experience numerous times before. Number #1 Dont try to be slick with me ! Trying to rip folk off, will get you nowhere.... Number #2 Dont come at me. I am a sweetheart, but dont take nobodys shit ! Number #3 Be careful how you treat people !!!! She missed out on her blessing today.
