GREGS COUNTRY MUSIC NEWS & NOTES 4.30.14 COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) has announced the 2014 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL RIVERFRONT STAGE lineup. Scheduled performers include: LONESTAR, LORRIE MORGAN, PAM TILLIS, GLORIANA, DAVID NAIL, CRAIG CAMPBELL, UNCLE KRACKER, THE CADILLAC THREE, DAN + SHAY, LOVE AND THEFT, FRANKIE BALLARD, KELLIE PICKLER, COLT FORD, JASON MICHAEL CARROLL, TERRI CLARK, COLE SWINDELL, DUSTIN LYNCH, BILLY RAY CYRUS, WYNONNA, CRAIG MORGAN, CASSADEE POPE, CHARLIE WORSHAM, JON PARDI, ERIC PASLAY, TYLER FARR, COLLIN RAYE, THE SWON BROTHERS, DARRYL WORLEY, LOCASH COWBOYS, CLAY WALKER, DANIELLE BRADBERY, PARMALEE, KRISTIAN BUSH and others. Performances will kick off every morning between THURSDAY, JUNE 5th to SUNDAY, JUNE 8th at 10a (CT). Joe Nichols recently announced on his Twitter account that his wife Heather was expecting the couple’s second child. Now, he’s revealing that they’ll be buying pink because it’s another girl for the Nichols family! The couple’s second child is due on May 20 and this is Nichols’ third daughter! Nichols is currently on tour but will be taking time off to welcome his third daughter. Brantley Gilbert can celebrate, because his hit ‘Bottoms Up‘ hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, making it his fastest chart topper to date. This is the country outlaw’s third time at the top, according to Billboard, his cd ‘Just As I Am,’ hits the streets May 19. Brantley is currently on his 2014 Let It Ride Tour and it will wrap up the day before ‘Just As I Am’ hits store shelves.
