GRI advanced its pioneering work in the sustainability field today - TopicsExpress

GRI advanced its pioneering work in the sustainability field today by reaching the important milestone of 20,000 reports registered in GRI’s Sustainability Disclosure Database (database.globalreporting.org/) from more than 6500 organizations. Additionally, more than 16,000 of those documents are based upon GRI’s Guidelines, a number which continues to grow. This accomplishment is a testament to the work GRI and other organizations have done over the past fifteen years. In particular, GRI’s Data Partners (database.globalreporting.org/data_partners/) played a pivotal role in this achievement. These figures also demonstrate the impact that GRI has in terms of helping the world’s organizations understand and communicate their commitment to sustainable development. The Sustainability Disclosure Database is an invaluable repository of data that is free for anyone to use, to help drive innovation throughout the global economy and ecosystem.
