*** GROOM POSITION AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY*** Avonmill Equestrian has a unique opportunity to work with quality horses, liveries, showjumpers and eventers in a quiet and professional yard just outside Denny. The successful applicant will undertake all yard duties working to the Yard Manager and there may be the opportunity to ride and to groom at shows. Applicants must have experience with horses and be comfortable handling and working with new horses. They should take a pride in their work, be keen to learn, tidy and work safely while being cheerful and friendly, as we are. An understanding that flexibility is required and an ability to think ahead is needed as no two days are ever the same! We value honesty, hard work and commitment to the well being of our horses. Applications are invited from those 16-24yo who live within the Falkirk Council area as we have Council funding to support this post. The full minimum wage will be paid and the successful applicant will receive paid holidays, training and the opportunity to progress under a BHSAI (Reg’d) and UKCC Level 2 Coach. We are not on a bus route and therefore a car would be needed. The post will involve working the weekend with days off during the week.
