GUA SHA - Whats THAT?! NO, thats NOT a hickey! It is a powerful technique to help move lymph and break up scar tissue that has been used for centuries by the Chinese. The technique is 1000s of times stronger than simple skin brushing. All you truly need is a bullhorn spoon and some heat. For more advanced use of Gua Sha, many use the vodka skin scrub technique to help open up the pores of the skin while breaking up lymphatic deposits. We expect almost a red type rash to surface when there is congestion in a specific area. For myself, my neck and head symptoms are worst.
