GUN CONTROL----Liberals do not want everyday citizens to be able to defend themselves. Stats show 2.5 million crimes are stopped by the mere presence of a gun every year. Liberals want you to depend on government for your safety....liberals despise self-confidence and independence...they want to control every aspect of our lives. The founding fathers were brilliant in putting the constitution together, they knew how easily government could become tyrannical and take away our God given rights. the second amendment was not about hunting--everybody depended on hunting their very survival depended on being able to shoot straight 200 years ago. Gun rights were about preventing a corrupt, tyrannical government from taking over. True American spirit is about taking control and running your own life. the government be damned. Constitution is a document we can look to for our rights in this world---not democracy--democracies do not last because its majority opinion---the majority mostly are in the wrong most of the time...America has survived and will survive if and only when we respect the constitution. It begins with three words, WE THE PEOPLE....are the boss, not this government.
