GUY SCOTT TO TAKE OVER AS PRESIDENT AT 05 HOURS The remaining Zambian cabinet will meet at 05: 00 hours today (Wednesday) Zambian time to formalise power transfer to vice-president Guy Scott, government sources have revealed. Acting president Edgar Lungu will be made to handover power to Scott. Most likely, it is after this formality that the Zambia government will announce the passing on of president Michael sata. It is not yet clear if Lungu will agree to handover as he may argue that he is the one to lead the country to the by-election. Lungu and some ministers had a meeting around midnight when they heard the news. President Michael sata died in London Tuesday evening. Sata died at King Edward VIIs hospital, Beaumont St, Central London. He died around 21 hours. At his death bed was his wife, three of sons including Lusaka Mayor Mulenga Sata.
