Gala do Desporto 2013- Sports Gala 2013 I can only give it my best and hope that its enough, if it isnt, I will restart with more guts, determination and keep on trying, for that is how I am ! On my way to the Sports Gala 2013, where I will take part as the Best Male athlete for the Mozambican Karate Federation and Irene Bechane as the best Female athlete. I rest assured that we did our best in 2013 and will carry on in 2014! Both are City Champions, National Champions and Zone Champions (Zone 6 Southern Africa). On our world Champs (WSKF - Shito) I only went trough to the top 16 in Kata and could not compete in Kumite, in team Kata we finished 5th! Irene finished 5th loosing the Bronze medal match ! We couldnt do anymore as Mozambique didnt go to the African Champs and there were no World WKF champs ! I surely hope the CVs for my coleagues (Other sportsman/women running for this title) are good and may the best win ! Eu só posso dar o meu melhor e esperar que seja suficiente, se não for, recomeço com mais força garra, determinação e continuo a tentar, assim sou!! Dirigindo-me para a gala do Desporto 2013, com a nomeação de Atleta do Ano Masculino, e com a Irene Bechane como melhor atleta Feminino pela Federação de Karate. Ciente de que fizemos o nosso melhor em 2013, e continuamos a trabalhar em 2014! Ambos vamos como Campeões da Cidade, Nacionais e Zonais (Entenda-se África Austral). Ao nível Zonal sou 2x Vice-campeão (individual e equipa) e Campeão (individual) A Irene é 2x Campeã (individual) e 1x Bronze (Equipa). No Mundial Shito em equipa fiquei em 5º e individual qualifiquei-me entre os 16 melhores em condições menos boas (quem sabe do que falo entende) A Irene perdeu a disputa pelo 3º lugar ficando em 5º lugar na sua primeira participação num mundial! Acho que mais que isto não poderiamos fazer porque não houve mundiais WKF nem Africanos Séniores e nos Sub-21 não participámos! Espero que os CVs dos nossos colegas (Entenda-se atletas que concorrem também a esta destinção) sejam bons e que vença o melhor!!
