Garage sales in Oamaru;MMMMMmmm Oamaru is a poor town, jobs are hard to come by and with a high percentage of older people that are retired does make it interesting. Its like feeding time at the zoo, its a frenzy. So many people turn up, that they dont put out signs incase they get stampeded or stripped before the due time. So its like the greatest race, trying to solve the clues to work out what house HAS it. If you see somebody running then, you run too...So although funny, not altogether a pleasant experience, due to feeling closed in and smothered by the volume of people. WHich makes finding stuff even harder.
