Garland is one of the few performers that both Astaire and Kelly admitted, stole their dance spotlights. Having no lessons and learning routines in one pass, Judys joy and her ability to be in the Event at hand, was unparalleled. There was a polished unrehearsed power about Garlands ability to move, and this was part of who she was and who she eventually became. Although her Topography is the same, it is completely Hers. It is her own personal gift and she knew from an early age, how to use, and most importantly, how to share it. Garland never means to over step her inner light, she merely has to allow it to radiate. Suddenly, we are with her. We are there. And we are hers.
