Gather round children, let me tell all you young whipper snappers a tale of an old bellydancer. First there were email groups like Shimmy where we were first able to communicate all during the year instead of just at bellydance events. Those grew and multiplied until there were more than you could keep up with. Then there was lovely Tribe.net where we were all contained in one place on the Net. There was talk of Tribe charging us for using the system and we all fled to this platform that college kids were using called FB. What next? Should we all just go back to Tribe? It is still there. What will be the next platform?
