Gautam buddha university organizes one day workshop on Seismic design of buildings on 28th march 2014. This workshop primarily aims at familiarizing the participants with Design of Buildings in Seismic environment. Seismic Design refers to designing structures which can withstand harsh natural conditions, i.e. Earthquakes. This workshop introduces you to the design and analysis software used in Civil Engineering industry for developing earthquake resistant structures. The participants would work hands-on on analyzing and designing a seismic structure. Various case studies and examples are used to get you a real life experience of seismic design. The workshop is oriented on the practical side, which makes Engineering look interesting and simple.
