Gavin Dugas and Gabriel Theiss stars as LBA Naturals Blue 12U defeats Venom (CA), 14-6 Thursday was a great day for Gavin Dugas, as he hit two home runs to carry LBA Naturals Blue 12U to a 14-6 victory over Venom at Cooperstown New York in six innings. Gabriel Theiss threw a complete game, giving up 5 hits, 6 runs, 4 earned and striking out 5. The Naturals now move on to the championship game at 8:15pm central time. The biggest inning for LBA was the fifth. Venom had no answer as the Naturals scored eight runs. LBA hit five home runs in the win. Home runs for LBA Naturals Blue 12U came when Blake Trant homered in the second inning, Brandt Roger homered in the fifth inning, Gabriel homered in the fifth inning, and Gavin homered in the fifth and sixth innings. The top of the second saw LBA take an early lead, 1-0. A solo blast by Blake started the inning off. The Naturals added five more runs in the top of the sixth. The inning looked promising, as Gavin homered to kick things off.
