Gday! I am an Aussie Christian Churches missionary in Nicaragua (same mob as Hillsongs and Planetshakers, etc). I am currently travelling with a small group of Nicaraguan street youths (children/youth who have been exposed to prostitution, gang warfare, are orphaned, etc.) through your area and we perform a Gospel Centered Street Theatre Production, “Created”, in partnership with local Churches. Created utilises music of all genres and dance styles, including Tricking (street gymnastics or Parkour), Bboy (breakdancing), Traditional Nicaraguan Folk Dancing, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, etc., to tell of our need for a Saviour, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ (what he did for us), in a parable styled format. We have had a church cancel our dates with them due to circumstances outside of our control (3rd – 7th of April) and so I am writing today to ask if your Church would consider having us come and stay. There are 16 of us and we are all male (except for my teenage daughters aged 13 and 16) aged between 10 and 22 years (though the leaders are older). We only require space to sleep in (we bring our own bedding). We could work around the church, do some local outreach advertising the church and we could present either a song on Sunday morning (with gymnastics and breakdancing) or our 40 minute theatrical performance (it’s exciting and people in any audience can relate to it).
