Geday Mate! from the dirty dell or Dirty South in Murica! I wanted to hit some word use differences, myths and maybe some stereotypes that I suppose have become how Americans view our friends down under. Found this fun video and of course like anything we have our view points just as this guy taking the video(s). Take his experience for what it is (He said in another video a lot came from his parents who also lived in the bush or as we say the Boonies.... Other examples, -In the Great Lakes area from Minnesota to Chicago to Rochester, NY we call it Pop not Soda. And yes there is A LOT more to NY state than just the city (Upstaters hate that sometimes haha). -Here in Louisiana and Mississippi: Im fixin to make some groceries yall! (I still laugh at this one a bit :) -Somewhere around Washington DC and northward yall is almost taboo.
