Gee, with Woodeye and Sub Oslo playing shows in FTW soon, I might have to abandon my hermitage for a night or two. Well see. In the meantime, no way can I pass up seeing one of my favorite players-of-stringed-instruments and Lawn Guyland homeboy, Darrin Kobetich, playing surf music through an amplifier built in the Guyland village of Westbury, since its taking place practically in my front yard. To be exact, Saturday night at 4621 El Campo. Darrins bluegrass Sabbath band plays at 7pm, the surf band at 9pm. Theres also a print show from 6-11pm and another band in between. Hooray!
