Geesh, this is harder than I expected, Nicole & Shannon . Last night we slept in separate bedrooms because Elvis wouldnt stop crying. He is acting out in frustration because he cant get to her. Daphne was doing so good being confident with party goers last night, but Elvis jealously drove him to come out after her - in front of guests, which he would normally never do. She stood up to him at first, but the moment she showed weakness by turning, he pounced. So we were separately comforting our kitties last night from the stress of the encounter. We thought we were making progress because she is tolerating him better and showing more confidence, but he is still so aggressive! I know he is just doing what comes natural. He wants to play and dominate but he is fiercely curious- such a strong personality. I dont know how to help them except just keep plugging along. A friend recommended we put Daphne in a crate so Elvis can meet and sniff her. Any advice?
