Gen 1:16 simply says, "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also." If therefore the Bible is the Greater Light, and the Spirit of Prophecy writings of EGW are the Lesser Light, I therefore submit to you that in the night of our spiritual journey and that of the church, when we go through tough and rocky times, the Lesser Light will be greatly needed to give perspective as to what time it is and where is the greater light! Yet I know there are seaons when the nights are so dark the Lesser Light of the moon will not be visible, YET stars never die, come rain come thunder, come day, come night! BE A STAR, FOR JESUS! Stand up even when the Greater Light of the Word has set and the Lesser Light has not dawned. Take note, the Woman of Revelation 12 was dressed in all the Lights of Heaven (sun, moon and stars). Fill up with all the light you can get! Do not despise the stars of men among you. Feed on their wisdom and get read to beam and glitter in the night skies. God bless you.
