Gen 5:25 Says Noah became father at the age of 500. Why so delayed? May be Noah walked with God with the intension to get away from this evil world. Enoch walked with God for 300 years and when God wanted him permanently in heaven to walk with Him, and God called him. Enoch left his whole family and went with God. Now Noah walked with God, may be as a bachelor for 400+ years, God did not call him according to his expectation. Finally he married and then he was with a lovely family with children, all primary childhood. It was then God called Noah not heaven ward but to built big boat for salvation to his family. Family should not be a hindrance for our walk with God and walk away with God. Gen 5:32 When Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
