Gender is not an issue when violence is at play a sentence based on gender is discriminatory in nature and does not ougure well with the basics of the namibian constitution . What if am a man and not a woman where is violence more condonable ? We cannot cheat ourselves by crying gender and think we are doing justice. Who is going to protect men if not the law. Violence of any form against a man a woman or a child must meet the equal wrath of the law otherwise you may create a clan of deliberate violence against men . When that happens dont come crying about a selfcreated clan.
