General comment regarding openers: If your talk is inspired by a famous book, you dont need to explain about it. As soon as the audience sees the book cover on your slide, theyll associate with it. The only reason to even mention the book in your opener is to gain credibility. If no one knows the book, theres little point mentioning it in your opener. The only other reason to mention it is to give credit (as briefly as possible) for the ideas youre sharing.
