Generosity as a lifestyle is not based upon a bank balance. It’s an inner conviction that comes from the overflow of a life that is immersed in its identity in Christ. God is ever-increasing and abundantly generous towards us despite our shortfalls in life. He lacks nothing and does not withhold his provisions or resources based upon our performance. It’s only natural to live a lifestyle of generosity when walking with God. It’s who he is and it is a privilege to share his love and provisions with the world through tangible actions. What we give our time, talent and treasure to is a reflection of our hearts. There is no lack in God. As we pour out, he pours back in. Walking with God and living generously is a very rewarding way to live. When we partner with God in faith, the results are out of this world! He takes us places we can only ever imagine in this world as we get to be his hands and feet, connecting with people from all walks of life. It’s an exciting journey. There is no fear in love and therefore no lack! The Holy Spirit is attracted to expectation and confidence.
