Gentlemen, It is my sad duty to inform you of the death, today, in a hospice close to his home in the Isle of Man, of my good friend, long term treasurer and co founder of the HMS Courageous Association, Roger Pescodd BEM. Roger lost his fight after a short battle with cancer. Roger served as CPO TASI in the submarine flotilla and as sea rider on patrols in many boats as well as permanent crew in a number of submarines including Sealion, Resolution, Conqueror, Courageous and Valiant. I am sure you will wish to join me in passing our condolences to his wife Pauline and their family. Details of the funeral arrangements are yet to be made. I shall be gathering messages of sympathy to pass on to Pauline so please feel free to pass any messages to me at hmscourageous@btinternet. RIP Ginge.
