Gentlemen: Thank you very much for reserving your tickets for this weekend’s recognition event. Here is the information you’ll need. Tickets will be available in the SU Ticket Office, located in the FG Clark Activity Center (mini-dome) at the Service Entrance. Walk up to the office, let them know you are picking up tickets for the “1993 SU Football Team” and they’ll refer to the reserved list that I have submitted. If you have requested 2 tickets, there will be no charge. If you have requested additional tickets, each additional ticket will be $30. For those that have inquired about use of your LHSAA coaches card, we have one reserved section that is used for LHSAA coaches card admits (Section 3W, and it is first-come first-seated). Your seats are in 5W and 6W. If you use your coaches card for admittance of guests, theywill not be seated with your party. Please take this into consideration. The ticket office is open from 9 am to 4 pm M-F. If you are not able to make it during this time, tickets will be available Saturday after 12 noon. The number to the office is 225-771-3171. Parking is free on game day in any area west of EC Harrison past the stop light on campus (no parking allowed on EC Harrison Drive). Enter on Harding Avenue, continue past the stop light, and find the first non-barricaded parking area. Any vehicles parked in any reserved lots east of EC Harrison are subject to ticketing and towing. Please follow these instructions carefully, arrive early to avoid traffic, and help us make this a smooth transition into the tailgating areas for everyone involved. If anyone will have family members who may be limited mobility, shuttle service will begin 2 hours before kickoff (4 pm). A free tailgating event will be held in your honor, sponsored by Southern University Athletics and SUFAA. After your arrival on campus, find the Nursing School front lawn, directly to the north of AW Mumford Stadium, and locate the Southern Alumni Federation and SUFAA Banners. For more information on tailgating please contact [email protected]. Please report to the AW Mumford Field House Lobby NO LATER THAN 5 PM. At this time, we will usher all of you on to the playing field in the north end zone so you can be on the field for pre-game warmups. At the designated time, ushers will walk all of you on to the field, along the out-of-bounds line on the west side of the field, as the pre-game public announcement is read recognizing your team. After the PA read and acknowledgement of the team, all players will then be escorted into the stands so that they can find their seats. Honorary Captains Eric Randall and Sean Wallace will remain behind for the pre-game coin toss.
