Our client is a major oil service company, they have hired a professional Security Consultant from UK to hire a local Security Coordinator in Kurdistan , train him get him on board by March then leave him to build the department and lead it. He will inherit the process, be everything to everyone and know everything across Sulaimanya and Erbil. Security in any company its over head, it doesnt make money it spends money, you will stop people from acting freely and it costs money so having a strong muscular personality is a must. Its un-supervised role, no one will tell you what to do but if you didnt youll be asked why you didnt, for this reason we need someone who has a strong sense of responsibility, can think broadly, takes initiatives and structure his day. Having very good soft skills (Microsoft words, Excel and Power point) is required because you will have to write reports on daily bases. In this respect, linguistically he must speak/ write excellent English, speak very good Kurdish and workable Arabic. Basically if we could get them someone with Security background will be great if not they dont mind taking someone with no experience in that field as long as he is smart, and able to pick it up and get use with it quickly. This is a key role in the company because its about their employees safety, maturity is needed thus they would like to hire someone between the age of 27 to 45. Having a degree from the UK will be treated as a plus. So all in all, for this role personality comes at the first place, then youre soft discipline and willingness to learn, after that your Academic qualification then Security experience.
