Gentlemen wanted to address a new book that came out from George - TopicsExpress

Gentlemen wanted to address a new book that came out from George Alexander who is a Hanshi in a bunch of different arts and claims to be the sole heir to Hakutsuru in the United States. I will stick to the facts that I know. He is an egotistical man who mixes in a little truth with lies to cover himself to make him look more legitimate than he truly is... On his website he claimed he certified someone as a 7th Dan in mixed martial arts..lol. I only bought this book because a friend pre read a few chapters and sent him some pictures. My friend Antonio Bustillo provided him with some pictures of the late Ken Ogawa. He stated he was Ogawas sempai dai at the dojo in orlando. I believe this is incorrect. He also spoke very badly of Itokazu Sensei who taught Sensei Ken Kenneth Washington and Sensei Rick Potrekus. Many fabricated stories all yo boost up his ego. Want a laugh look up Hanshis world on YouTube with George and Steve Kauffman another fraud see if you can watch 15 minutes of the 30 minutes of doo.doo For another laugh look at his 50 man kumite when he turned 60 on youtube. If Im fighting like that in 60 it had better be in a nursing home because its pathetic. His book is over 500 pages in small print and if you want to read an egomaniacs take on the arts enjoy... SEEKING THE WAY..MY LIFE IN MARTIAL ARTS by George Alexander. Enjoy Garry Parker Howard Upton Paul Saturday and some of my other friends. If anyone wants to know if Ive seen him and his instructors in person yes I did. I walked out and the end of a seminar of his in 2001 at Rick Dermo old school when he and Ken Penland where there as well a Marcos Bossett who was my training partner. All my friends can attest. I learned NOTHING in 3 hours of training didnt even stay for a picture. Happy new years enjoy my book review wanted to start it off the right way. Mike Mitchell
