Geoff Lowe and Jacqueline Riva, better know by their collaborative name ‘A Constructed World,’ are an avant-garde Australia-based artist duo that have exhibited solo shows and performance pieces within the region and beyond. Their works often focus on combining performance elements with conceptual notions of fine arts; challenging the often blurry lines that separates the viewer and the artwork. This piece as presented here, is an contract that viewers have to sign (a confidentiality clause) before being allowed to experience the performance, community and conceptual art that lies within the walls — nobody knows what happens inside there, so the only way is to experience it for yourself. The Social Contract by A Constructed World is on display from 2 November to 15 December 2013 at the Spring Workshop from 12pm to 6pm (Tuesday to Sunday).
