Wanna kill yourself? Imagine this. You come home from school one day. Youve had yet another horrible day. Youre just ready to give up. So you go to your room, close the door, & you take out that sucide note youve written & rewritten over & over & over. You take out those razor blades, & you cut yourslef for the very last time. You grab that bottle of pills, & you take them all. Ladying down, holding that letter to your chest, you close your eyes for the very last time. A few hours later, your little brother comes in to tell you dinners ready. You dont answer, so he walks in. All he sees is you laying on your bed, so he thinks youre alseep. He tells your mom this. Your mom goes to your room & tries to wake you up. She notices something is odd. She grabs the paper in your hand & reads it. Sobbing, she tries to wake you up. Shes screaming your name. Your brother, so confused, runs & tells Dad, Mommy is crying, & sissy wont wake up. Your dad runs to your room & reads the letter. Looking at your lifeless body, it hits him whats going on. He starts screaming. He throws something at the wall. And then, falling to his knees, he begins to cry. Your mom crawls to him, & they sit there, holding eachother, crying. The next day at school, theres an annoucment. The principal tells everyone about your suicide. It takes a few seconds for it sink in, & once it does, everyone goes silent. Everyone blames themselves. Your teachers think they too hard on you. That boy that used to tease you & call you names, he cant help but hate himself for never telling your how beautiful you are. Your best friend? Shes in complete shock. She cant believe it. She knew what you were going through, but never thought it would end like this. She cant cry. Shecant feel anything. She stands up, walks out of the classroom, & just sinks to the floor. Shaking, screaming, but no tears coming out. At your funereal, the whole town came. Everyone knew you, as the girl who had the bubbly personailty, & who always smiled. The one who was always there for them. Everyones crying,your brother still doesnt know whats happening, hes too young. Your teachers all quit their jobs. That boy who used to tease you, now cuts himself. Your best friend tried to kill herself. She didnt succeed like you did, but she still tried.. Your brother finally found out the truth about your death. He cries himself to sleep, he does exactly what you did leading yourself up to suicide. Your parents? Their marriage fell apart. Your dad became a workaholic to distract him from your death. Your mom got diagnosed with depresion & just lays in bed all day. People care. You may not think so, but they do. Your choices dont just affect you. They affect everyone.
