George Njoroge: I have always said that the tactical retreat Raila made by letting them keep the stolen presidency was the best thing to have ever happened to the country. Today all their lies have been exposed. Buying leaders to portray Raila as being deserted is no longer a viable propaganda. Kenyans already saw how despite buying Ruto, Mudavadi, Ngilu, Balala etc to help them win the elections, they still had to openly rig the elections using state machinery and a complicit media. All that the tribal brokers could help them do was to protect the stolen presidency. Because they knew their coming together had actually achieved zero impact in the real support matrix of Raila, they resorted to shamelessly pleading with the same Raila whom they had apparently finished to quit politics in exchange for anything he would ask for, including an enhanced retirement package such as the one Kibaki was rewarded with for handing them power they did not earn. When Raila refused to heed their stupid call, they then started looking for ways of killing him, a plot that was botched after they were overheard by some foreign intelligence network. Then, the other day, we again saw that despite the lords of impunity ganging up together, Raila still earned the title baba free of charge from Kenyans of all regions. The thugs had to resort to bursting beautiful calabashes, murdering/mutilating innocent chicken, reciting devilish incantations and even deploying a full army of security officers (15,000) to contain someone they had purportedly dismantled his entire support network by chipping all tribes that supported him through the defection of certain individuals. That is why I say this Ababu nonsense is being propagated by the media that takes the intelligence of Kenyans for granted. Ababu going or staying will not determine whether Raila becomes president or not. Only Kenyans themselves will decide that. All they need is a group of solid leadership like the one we see in Cord leadership that will change things in the country. Not mere individuals who have discovered their own secrets of selling hot air to desperate thieves who have stolen billions of public funds and are willing to do everything to avoid being caught up by the law. They are like folks riding on a tiger who must continue riding on its back or get down and be chewed pronto.
