George Pal was more than just a filmmaker, he was a visionary, in every sense of the word. His last completed film, 1964s The Seven Faces of Dr. Lao, is both his masterpiece and his vindication. Bill Tuttle won a special Oscar for his make-up artistry (it became a regular category the following year) and Tony Randall SHOULD have been up for Best Actor for what is undoubtedly his finest work on film. A just pre-Jeannie Barbara Eden, John Erickson, and Arthur OConnell also star.
