George Zimmerman was found innocent and acquitted from the charges of murder and manslaughter. And I, in light of this new found information, am deeply confused. To stop and consider the questions and circumstances that took place during the night Martin Treyvon was shot in the chest and killed- why did he pursue this teenage boy even when police told him not to do so when he called them to report a "suspicious" person. What suspicious activity could have provoked Zimmerman to confront this teenager armed with a live gun? Honestly, If someone approached me with a weapon strapped to their hip, I would think my life was in danger and would definitely try to defend myself. But maybe I am assuming to much. Certainly, to make a sound and valid judgement, one must respectfully consider the facts. But even then, evidence suggests a clouded version of what happened that night, and would definitely obscure ones judgement to make a rational decision on a verdict.
