George and I both had an extraordinary passion, not only about our relationship but about our occupation and serving others. We worked together through thick and thin and embraced challenges both in our married life and in the positions we held. Were there rough spots, sure but George, especially, had an amazing ability to forgive and endure. I saw that about him immediately and I loved him all the more for it. He taught me how to forgive, overlook imperfections, and cherish differences. It was his maturity and understanding that allowed us to build such a lasting relationship and keep the spark alive. I miss him a little too much, a little too often and a little more each day.
