Germany vs Portugal Apart of the first 10 minutes of the game where any of both team could take the lead, that was an unfair and non equilibrated game between a side who is full of stars and privileges team work and an opposition that only aims to play to their unique star, Cristiano Ronaldo... With Cristiano coming back after a month of inactivity recovering from multiple injuries, it was difficult for the current best player in world to show up his level especially having dumb players such as Pepe in his team... The 1st German goal came after a generous penalty whistled on Gotze... In my opinion there is a contact and yes there is a penalty but it didnt need such a dive, reminding me Freds dive vs Croatia... The 2nd goal came after a well played corner kick where Hummels ball timing and jump overcame a static Pepe... At 11 vs 11 it was already almost mission impossible for Portugal, how about 10 vs 11... Although what Pepe did could have been easily unpunished, as we can see similar action in almost every football game, what he did was extremely stupid, confirming Jose Mourinhos theory throwing him on the bench... The knock out goal game a little bit later and just before the end of the first half by an opportunistic Mueller... The second half, the German could easily score 3-4 goals but they preferred not to give everything since we are still at the beginning of the completion... Portugal should have been allowed a clear penalty, yet the referee didnt whistle it... The fourth goal is a striker goal, Mueller seized the rebound and only had to push the ball inside the net... Portugal will have to struggle against USA and Ghana in order to qualify noting that Coentrao and Almeida are off until the end of the competition due to muscle injuries and Pepe is red carded until next round... Concerning Argentina and Messis goal, although he is not as his best level, Messi proved that he is still one of the best players and his goal was a pure genius one...
