According to the census projections as of 2012 we had 536,275 residents over the age of 18 but just 392,058 (73%) registered voters in Georgias 10th congressional district and of these, just 76% voted in the 2012 general elections (thats 55.5% of eligible voters!). Voter turnout for the May primaries was just 17% of registered voters in the GA 10th, and the turnout for the July runoff elections was even worse! As a consequence, fundamentalist wing nut, Jody Hice is poised to go to congress! Make sure that you, your family and friends are registered to vote in the general elections on November 4th - mvp.sos.ga.gov. The registration deadline is October 6th.
