Anyone over the age of 45 remembers the wonderful special Its the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown which aired on October 27th, 1966 and was a smash hit, with whimsical scenes of kids carving jack olanterns accompanied by the inspired music of the great jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi, his tune Linus and Lucy capturing the hearts of people around the world. Well... were hosting The Great Pumpkin Carve from Thursday October 23rd through Saturday October 25th at the Chadds Ford Historical Society, 1736 Creek Road (Old Route 100) in Chadds Ford each night from 5- 9 p.m. Come join us for what has become the most fun and celebrated event on our Fall calendar!!
