Get ready to float with todays DDYAUG Yoga Break! You jump forward, you thud and stumble. So what? Yogas a practice, not a perfect - but heres something to up your practice game a little in the floaty department: Two yoga blocks. Place them, lengthwise, at their shortest height under your hands in Downward Facing Dog. Now build your Down Dog - - line your heels up with your hips, and bring skin to muscle to bone on your legs. Engage Uddiyana Bandha (pull the pit of your belly in and up). Work with creating length in your spine - - keep your legs and core engaged as you lift your hips towards the sky and lengthen through both sides of your body. Draw the tips of your shoulders towards the back of the room, and come into the muscles of your arms - relax your elbows. Ready to jump? YES YOU ARE! With all of that superfly integration all over your body, inhale, bend your knees, and set your gaze beyond the top of your mat. Exhale, and jump your feet up between your hands. Keep you core engaged! You might be surprised just how far you go with this one! GO PLAY! Namaste!
