Getting Rid Of Nose Blackheads What Causes Blackheads -Before you plan about the treatments and ‘getting rid of’ plans know more on how you get the blackheads. -Blackheads are caused by the accumulation and clogging of excess oil in a pore. This clog happens when the oil that is collected, is unable to find a way to get to the surface of the skin due to the presence of dead skin cells or an impaired pore that acts as the hurdle. At times when the pore is open, the oil gets exposed to oxygen resulting in the formation of a ‘blackhead’. -The second reason can be hormones as they are the leading cause of increased oil production. An increase in the male hormones or ‘androgens’ increases the natural production of oil in your skin, causing more oil to build up in each pore, resulting in the appearance of black heads. -Makeup products or any kind of skin care products can at times trigger the formation of blackheads as they combine with body’s natural oil, which can block pore. - Whitehead and blackhead pimple formation actually is a predisposed skin condition that is accelerated when it is combined with the above toxins. How To Prevent Blackhead : - Avoid using oily, greasy, or thick creams. -Use a gentle acne cleanser. -Do not use soap for cleansing your face as soap uses certain essential oils that can cause pore clog, resulting in blackheads. Exfoliate your skin quite often using any cream that contains 1% or 2 % (BHA or Salicylic Acid) that will penetrate the lining of the pore. If you cannot use BHAs, you can use products containing alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) though they are only for surface exfoliation and not the pore lining exfoliation. Absorb excess oil using clay masks that do not contain mint, peppermint or other irritating ingredients. Oil-absorbing papers may help to reduce the oil in your pores to a certain extent. Visit your dermatologist. How To Remove Blackheads : -The most common way of getting rid of blackheads is squeezing them out. If done carefully you can successfully clear off those blackheads from your nose without causing any infections. Steps -Wash and exfoliate the skin using any mild exfoliating agent. -Pat it dry and steam your face. You can add a few drops of tea tree oil into the bowl of hot water that you are using to steam. -Once you steam for 10 minutes, the pores will open up. - You can use either a blackhead removal mask or facial. Apply it on the face as per the instructions given. Wash it off after 10 minutes using lukewarm water. -You can use a blackhead extractor if the mask is unavailable. You can gently squeeze out the plug-ins and then you can apply any mild antiseptic cream on that area. -You can use pore strips instead of the above mentioned ways. -Pat your skin dry and continue this twice a week. Go for a skin routine and this will help you get rid of your blackheads slowly but steadily. #NNAJI
