Getting my 2nd plasmapheresis done on the dialysis machine. I will get this done every other day for 10 days for a total of 5 plasmapheresis. Hopefully this will help me feel better and help my weakness and breathing because I didnt do well on my Pulmonary Function Test on Tues 7/8 so there is a concern about my lungs now. My PT is still working with my weakness in my legs, however no improvement. In fact I am loosing strength in my hips. I am glad that I will be going to IU Aug 5th. This is my 3rd set of Plasmapheresis since starting my first set if five when I wad first admitted to the hospital the first time April 30th, of this year. I have been told by both my Neurologist and Dialysis Doctor that this is very unusual for a Myasthenia Gravis patient to have this many treatments in this short of time! However, since I have been so unstable and medication has not been able to stabilize me so far, plasmapheresis is the only treatment that has worked for me. Praise God for that and that I have insurance to help pay for it because it is very expensive! Keeping F.R.O.G.ING IT! FULLY RELYING ON GOD! 2014 ONE WORD: TRUST
