Ghar Day #11, Song #32 In another discussion, in another forum, I was at pains to establish that Kishore Kumar was the ultimate Raahi. He imagined himself as such, walking or going through the journey of life searching for a thikaana and then move on from there too. This song on the of repeated theme of Kishore Kumar (He even made a non-commercial movie called Door Ka Raahi) is however, not picturised on him but on Jeetendra in the 1972 movie Parichay, also starring Jaya Bahaduri and Sanjeev Kumar (a remake of The Sound of Music). The song has Gulzars lyrics and hence one is assured of meaningful lyrics and the music is that of RD Burman. Please enjoy: Mussafir hoon yaaro, na ghar na thikaana Mujhe chalet jaana hai, bas chalet jaana.... (Compare it with Kishores Door Ka Raahi song: Rehguzr mein kayi manzilen bhi milli Dekh kar ek pal, dam liya, phir chale....) musaafir huu.N yaaro naa ghar hai naa Thikaanaa mujhe chalate jaanaa hai, bas, chalate jaanaa musaafir... ek raah ruk ga_ii, to aur ju.D gaI mai.n mu.Daa to saath-saath, raah mu.D gaI havaa ke paro.n pe, meraa aashiyaanaa musaafir... din ne haath thaam ke, idhar biThaa liyaa raat ne ishaare se, udhar bulaa liyaa subah se shaam se meraa, dostaanaa musaafir... https://youtube/watch?v=6GDG7E1fUkU
