Gharghur FC Minors 1-2 Swieqi United Minors A Hard fought match between two teams fighting for promotion. Swieqi took an early lead after 7 minutes through Jonathan Xuereb. After the goal Gharghur pressed for an equaliser. They did manage to find it minutes after the restart through Kurt Bonnici who rounded the Goalkeeper and slotted home. But just 10 minutes later Swieqi scored through a penalty after a Handball by Edward Camilleri. Neil Farrugia converted from the spot for Swieqi. Gharghur pushed for an equaliser for the second time but did not manage to do so. Good Performance from the boys.
