Gibson fanatics....I have the opportunity to pickup either a 2011 traditional pro or a 1997 Standard. Both are mint and the asking prices are $300 apart. I have to drive a bit to get to either so I can try them out, but not without a lot of hassle. Basically if I drive, I intend to buy. Ive tried to research both to the best of my abilities, but Im not sure that I am finding accurate info and definitely not complete info. The sellers dont really have a lot of info. Not sure about pickups in the trad. Will be either 57s or burst buckers from what I have read. The standard I think has the 490r and 498t stock. Can yall shed some light and provide a reason for buying one or the other?
