Gidget and I go to many parks in our area during the warm season. At several parks I often see a women near a SUV with a cat. She lets the cat out and it runs and plays but never lets the lady out of her sight. I assumed she was a homeless woman who appears to be in her early 60s. We have chatted about her cat on several occasions. Today, Gidget and I went to another park to enjoy the nice weather, and there she was with her cat and a dog as well. We started talking and her dog a Shitz zu is abt 15 yrs old and her baby. Her dog Angel is in bad need of a grooming !!! Her poor little feet were so over grown with hair. It made me sad. We have some really hot weather coming and this baby deserves to be more comfortable I felt. Long story shortened, she is homeless and has been for 5 months and lives in her SUV with her cat MS. Kitty and her dog Angel.:( I called my groomer and arranged for Angel to be groomed this Sat and I put it on my card. The lady didnt agree to me doing so without some gentle persuasion as she was embarrassed I could tell. Very humbly and non judgmentally I convinced her to allow me to help her. I cried all the way home and thanked the Universe for putting me at that park today and for me having enough money right now to be able to help the poor lady and her dog out. I dont feel proud of myself, I feel humbled and grateful for all I have. Life hasnt been the same for me materially and financially since the market collapse in 2008 but I find myself helping others more in various ways .I cant do allot monetarily but I do little things here and there when I can. Please everyone lets not judge and blame those less fortunate than ourselves but look for ways to make their lives a bit more comfortable. Im tired of hearing ppl go on abt entitlements, welfare, health care denials, immigration and the selfishness of the world today:((((( The world today deeply saddens me anymore:(( NAMASTE
