The CBSE Heritage Education Programme [CHEP] India is endowed with a vast and ancient cultural heritage that has shaped the lives and values systems of the people. CBSE recognises that heritage is more than a record of the past - it is an integral part of the Indian identity today and for the future. We, as a nation, should also recognize that India’s cultural heritage along with her natural resources, are equally in danger of being destroyed in the name of economic development and modernization.
