Gifted and Talented Primary Art workshop Gifted and Talented Students in Art from year 3, 4 and 5 enjoyed a workshop to build on and improve their creativity, imagination and skills in Art. Students had fun creating a design and work inspired by the artist Hundertwasser, who is famous for his use of bright colours and organic architecture. Students engaged in questions about the use of colour and shapes in his work and then proceeded to design and create their own painting with the them ‘My home’. Students also experimented with mixed-media techniques, collage and applying texture to their work. Students were mentored by GCSE art students Dan, Ellie and Megan in year 10, and under their excellent guidance all students managed to produce an outstanding painting each! Well done to all who took-part!
