Gilgit-Baltistan’s legislators call on President ISLAMABAD, Sep 2 (APP): A delegation of members of Legislative Assembly of Gilgit-Baltistan led by its Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah called on President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. The delegation besides Chief Minster GB included Wazir Baig, Muhammad Jaffar, Musa, Muhammad Ali Akhtar, Ali Maddad Shah, Engr. Ismail, Nasir Khan, Sheikh Nisar and Aftab Hayder. Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that Chief Minister GB Syed Mehdi Shah thanked the President for his keen interest in the development of Gilgit-Baltistan and granting self rule to he people of Gilgit-Baltistan through promulgation of Gilgit-Baltistan (Empowerment and self governance) order.
