Gillian was admitted to Foothills hospital earlier this evening. Her drain was not working properly, she was quite short of breath and was experiencing some pain. After 10 hours in emergency and lots of specialists, we now have a plan of action. It may take a few days in hospital to fix. It seems the drain has done a great job on the back of her lung but the front is full of fluid and not reached by the tube. Some clot buster was put in and a temp tube in the front part will be put in later this weekend.
