Given the crazy winds and my concern Ash will blow away if left outside he is sheltering inside my laundry tonight. Before heading to bed we ventured outside so he could grab a drink and relieve himself. Upon walking out the door I closed the glass sliding door behind me, but left the screen door open. After a few minutes Ash finishes his outside duties and I follow behind as he happily walks towards the laundry door and the comfort which awaits him inside. He soon realises though, via his head, that I did not leave the glass door open! Now left with a saw head and a frown to match I give him a quick pat and hug before opening the glass sliding door. Although this time before entering, even though he just witnessed me open the door, Ash lifts his poor to check it is definitely open, wags his tail after confirming there is no longer any obstructions and steps carefully inside. Quick learner!! :-)
