Given the current situation in Syria and (separately) an upcoming German election in September, there are several rallies, demonstrations and protests scheduled for Saturday, 31 August 2013. BMC Grafenwoehr community members travelling to downtown Stuttgart on Saturday may expect to encounter several demonstrations in themes ranging from: Commemoration of ‘Anti-War Day 2013’ Situations in Syria and Egypt Data storage of private citizens Political Party Rallies Protests are scheduled throughout the day Saturday, mostly in the downtown Stuttgart area. Although these events are expected to be peaceful, themes may attract counter-demonstrators. Please maintain situational awareness. Other large cities in Germany may have similar activity.
